Here we will tell you how to make a Photoshop-treasuremap-antiquepaper-burnedhole-effect in photoshop.

[1] Take a new file of 500 pixels, 500 pixels, of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.

[2] Take the Rectangular Marquee Tool create a shape and fill with this color coding #C88800.

[3] Take the Smudge Tool.

[4] Play with Smudge Tool see in the next image.

[5] Now go to Blending Option use the following settings.

[6] Your image will be as shown below.

[7] Take the Eraser Tool use these settings.

[8] Use the Eraser Tool inside the image as shown image below.

[9] Now open your image over the previous shape layer then Cntl+Click on this layer, then press Cntl+C, to copy now press Cntl+V, to paste it now.

[10] Your image should be look like this.

[11] Now change the Blending Mode to Overlay.

[12] Take the Burn tool and burn areas you want.
