Create a sheriff badge using pen tool feature.

Lets create a simple police/sheriff  bronze color badge using photoshop.

[1] Take a new file of 400 pixels,400 pixels, of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.

[2] Take the Shape Tool and select this one see in the next image.

[3] Create a shape fill with this color coding #A81A19.

[4] Go to Blending Option use the following settings.

[5] Your image should be look like this.

[6] Now hold Cntl+Click to make the selection.

[7] Then go to Select>Modify>Contract Selection use these value.

[8] Create a new layer fill with DarK Red color.

[9] Now go to Blending Option use the following settings.

[11] Now take the Text Tool, write your text.
