Acer has announced that it will be launching two new laptops which will be Centrino2 based. These two laptops are TravelMate 5730 and the TravelMate 7730. Acer TravelMate 5730 features a 15.4-inch WXGA widescreen display, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with up to 2GB of dual-channel DDRII memory and the Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset beside many other features. Travel Mate 7730 has a comparatively large screen as compare to TravelMate 5730 which measures 17-inch. It also loads Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset, and up to 4GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory beside many other features. There is no information as to the price of these laptops.
