Art Center Pasadena student Jake Loniak was so fed up of plain looking bikes that he created Yamaha Deus Ex Machina which is a wearable motorcycle concept. Deux Ex Machina is inspired by Biomechatronics and is an electric vertically parking motorcycle controlled by 36 pneumatic muscles with 2 linear actuators. It is worn like an exoskeleton and has the following features;
- seven artificial vertebra
- pneumatically attached helmet
- doped nano-phoshpate batteries
- Top speed of 75mph
- 0-60km/hr in 3 sec
- cycle time of 1 hour
- recharge time of 15 minutes
No date as to its release has been disclosed but I am waiting for it.
