Two Huge Solar Power Plants to Produce 800 Megawatts in California

Two photovoltaic solar power plants will be built in San Luis Obispo County in California, covering 12.5 square miles which will produce near about 800 megawatts electricity. One of the two plants will be installed by OptiSolar, which will produce 550 megawatts in San Luis Obispo County while the other plant will be installed by Sun Power Corporation and it will produce 250 megawatts electricity. The energy produce by these two plants will be sold to Pacific Gas & Electric.
