Nano Solution to Clean Polluted Water of Developing Countries

Scientist at University of South Australia have discovered a nano solution which can clean the polluted water, remove bacteria and other contaminants from water using tiny particles of pure silica coated with a nanometer-thin layer of active material based on a hydrocarbon. Professor Peter Majewski said that it can “remove bacteria, chemicals, viruses and other contaminants from water much more effectively than conventional water purification methods.”
