British troops to Get help from Robot Wars

A competition to design new technology for the military is going on in mocked-up wartime village on Salisbury Plain. The best things which have come forward includes a “Moon buggy” which remotely patrols for enemies via thermal imaging and then sends the data back to a command center. Other things are a helicopter that can be maneuvered in tight urban spaces and a RC which has various digicams mounted on top of it. Time will tell how helpful they will be for British Army but it’s nice to see that they still care for their troops.
